This past Thursday I had the pleasure of joining several other FABULOUS bloggers at the official TriFABB launch party!! What is TriFABB you ask? It’s a group and community where bloggers in the Triangle region of North Carolina can come together to learn, collaborate, meet, and connect with each other – oh, and they all happen to share a passion for fashion, beauty, and/or blogging!(TriFABB website, Aug 2012).
It was so much fun and it filled my heart with pure joy to meet other local women that I have something in common with. Don’t get me wrong I’ve met so many great people through blogging and made lifelong bliends [blogger friends] but it’s always nice to have people in your area that you can get together with that share the same or similar interest with you. I’m really looking forward to our next meet up, besides I'm tired of explaining to my husband the difference between chevron and a chambray!
The launch party took place at Fab'rik a cute boutique that was generous enough to offer the bloggers 20% off of anything purchased that night. Aside from meeting one another there was another cause for the meet up and that was to collect donations for a charity called Emmas Home which helps young women who have been involved with sex trafficking get back on the right track. We were able to get THREE containers worth of stuff for these young women which was amazing. I love being able to help others out, the heartwarming feeling it leaves stays with me long after the deed is done.
Check out the pictures from the event and them check out some of the bloggers pages!
I'll be back Wednesday with another Fall Fashions guest post and later this week with a blogger event I am co-hosting with another blogger! FUN!
